The new courthouse is built on the former site of the oenological Narbonne station， at the corner ofBoulevard General De Gaulle and Alger street. is connected to the vast open square on the boulevardto Saint Francis. The building is built around an axis of transparency which is part of the morphologyof the plot. The building of the Palais de justice de Narbonne is respectable and peaceful， stable andopen. The building consists of two entities， the Tribunal de Grande Instance “TGI” (building+R2 ) andthe Magistrates ‘TI’ Court ( building R+3 ) . These two buildings are connected by a canopy that coversthe concourse. Bridges on either side of this space， used to connect these two ensembles. Organizedaround an axis connecting the dense and compact area of the historic center to the more open areas，the building is composed as a natural pathway.
