　　Historians as well as survivors and family members of the victims of the 1937 Nanjing Massacre gather in Nanjing， east China’s Jiangsu Province，on February 26，supporting a draft decision submitted to the StandingCommittee of the National People’s Congress (NPC)，China’s top legislature，which suggests setting nationalmemorial days to commemorate the victory in the war against Japanese invasion，and the victims of the 1937 Nanjing Massacre.

　　According to the draft decision，September 3 is proposed to mark victory in the Chinese War Against Japanese Aggression from 1937 to 1945，and December 13 to commemorate the deaths of more than 300，000 Chinese people who were slaughtered by Japanese aggressors near the end of 1937.On February 27，the NPC Standing Committee approved the two national days.
